The Crafty Pad - Just Die-Delicious...

Hello! Today I am sharing with you my DT card for the challenge at the crafty pad just die-delicious for this card I chose to work with the image Easter Chicks in a Brolly - I love it they are so cute and this image was perfect for me to use my new limited edition pro-markers that I recently purchased (and I love them too!) The prize for this weeks challenge is from Crafty Emma's Store - so if you want to be in with a chance of winning please play along! So yes if you regularly follow my blog you will remember that I have recently sold nearly all my pro-markers as I hardly ever used them *blushes as I have now purchased 4 new sets! I love the colours that are included in the Spring set of the pro-markers that I have just purchased - they all compliment each other so well as you can see from this image
The new releases that we have seen from the crafty pad this week have been great and I have been lucky enough to work with some of them... If you are like me and an avid colourer they are perfect and look so effective no matter what medium you chose...
To the top right of the image I have added three brads in sinilar colours tho those I have coloured the image in

I inked the edges of the image with more mustard and I mounted this on a piece of the sale-a-bration DSP enchanted - I think that the colours in the DSP pic out the colour from the image perfectly...

To the left hand side I have included a strip of mustard card and inside this have layered a piece of pink card. Leaving a smaller border to the left, across the top of the DSP I have added a piece of linen thread that I have tied in a bow I love the rustic effect that this gives.

The dies that I have used to create the flower in the bottom left of the card I apologise I don't know what they are - my lovely new friend Tina die-cut me a full envelope of bits and pieces to use and I thought that these would great for the challenge today (thank you Tina xxx)

I stamped a sentiment from the new Easter set from SU and I have stamped this in mustard to pick out the tones in the DSP

I have included this close up of the image so you can see the colouring better and see just how great the image is - I am not great at using pro-markers but feel the more practice I do the better I am getting... I suppose we all feel like that! x
