Today I am sharing with you my makes for the

This week we got to work with some amazing digital designs from

I chose to work with the series

The inspiration picture that we also had to work with this week

perfect for the weather that we have had this week! well we had snow anyway! with my boys school being closed Friday!
A lazy day spent in the warmth with tea and toast!

So here is what I created...

I have created a scrapbook page
Something I need to do more of!

I have used the textured papers as matt layers for the background
The butterfly brads
journalling cards
and tags

(my boys at a family wedding!)

The journalling cards are great for recording details on...
perfect for scrapbooking!

each card co-ordinates with the other elements in the series

The second project I made was a kind of minibook
the 12x12 sheet folds into 4

I have used the textured papers
journalling cards
butterfly brads
and tags in this project too!

I have used bazzil basics textured card for the matt layer behind
and a scrap DSP for the thin panel

the brads are punched out
I could never cut that neatly!

the words are Tim Holtz
(who else!)

I love how everything co-ordinates
as a crafter - I find this really important!

The idea for this project is to add
pictures and jouralling notes

I am going to send this to my auntie - adding pictures before I do

I hope you like what I have created for you today!

and thank you for taking the time to visit...
I have loved this weeks challenge and I hope you will join us!

to my new followers too!

A close up of the image
Glitter added to the ear muffs for a bit of sparkle

The Tim Holtz sentiment words

NOT JUST CARDS - new beginnings #40

How are you on this blustery day??

Today I am sharing with you the card that I have created for the challenge at
and our theme is

to help welcome in the New Year!

I have used the image

Silvertrace baby dragon in an egg

I have coloured the image with pro-markers
I have kept to muted muted colours and done the same for the papers

I have used shiny backing paper to add a little texture
and a strip of DSP with green tines decorated with words

A close up of the image

The baby dragon is so cute - I have used a darker green in some areas to highlight them

The washy tape is in co-ordinating colours and is from Stampin Up!
This is one of those products that I have purchased and never used!
how often do we do that??

The sentiments are the words I cannot stop using from
Tim Holtz!

I cannot wait to see what you create for us!

Thank you for taking the time to visit and thank you for looking
I appreciate the time you take to visit and comment

Another NEW DT post...

Today I am sharing with you my first post for

Our theme this time is
texture/ embossing/ crinkled paper

I hope you will join in with us!

So for this challenge I have created an altered CD

I have covered the CD in DSP from Stampin Up!
and I have sanded the edges to create some texture, rather than cutting it out!

The image that I have used is a magnolia and one that I have had stamped in my stash for ages - you just never get around to using them!
I have coloured the image with
polychromos and sansador rubbing alcohol and blended the colour with blending stumps...

The texture I have created using a mask and glossy texture paste
it isn't perfect - but I kind of like that as when you touch it it is not all the same depth

I have used card candy from craftwork cards
and the sentiment is a tim holtz ticket that I have trimmed down - I just thought it was a little big to be used uncut

I hope you like my cration and thank you for taking the time to visit
WELCOME to all my new followers - it is lovely to have you here!

Crafters Cafe #164

And welcome to 2017... After the rubbish 2016 we had I cannot wait to get 2017 off to an amazing start
and finally see the back of the last year!

So today I am sharing with you the card that I have made for
The challenge this time is sponsored by

I had

to work with
I just love her... Being named Deborah I love bees!
(Deborah means BEE in Hebrew!)

I have created today a card and a tag and kept the colours simple
to follow the monochrome theme

I think the card follows this better as I have added more colour to the ribbon on the tag!

I have coloured the image with my pro-markers only using a few colours to followthe theme!
I have used Bo Bunny papers and added pearls to the card and tag in gold and charcoal grey

the hearts are punched from stampin up card and the sentiment words are Tim Holtz

I hope that you like my creation s and I hope that you will join in the challenge with us this time

here is to  creative one!

Crafter's Cafe #163

I hope you are well
Welcome and Thank You to all my new followers!
It is lovely to have you here!

Who is excited for CHRISTMAS??

I am working with an image today from

The image that I am using today is

I have coloured my image with pro-markers!
what else... It is all I seem to use at the minute! So much so that loads are running out!

It was our challenge theme to use ribbon! So I decided to do something a little different
I have tied a bow with two different colours of grosgrain ribbon and also included a length of twine

I have added this to the corner of the card and I think this looks really effective!

The DSP that I have used is all Stampin Up!
and it is from many years ago! I think it is called Merry Moments...

I am one of those people that will buy something and not use it for years as you don't want to spoil it!

How many of us do that??

Thank You for taking the time to visit and I hope to see you in our challenge!

NJC Challenge Winter #39

Good Morning!
How are we all today??

I am having a rubbish few days - but crafting is helping!
So this week I have been using one of the fabulous images from

I feel so lucky that they are sponsoring our challenge this month as their images are amazing, but also they have stepped in last minute to sponsor the challenge as we were let down with images..

So a massive thanks to the Day for Daisies team
It is much appreciated!

The image that I chose to work with is

A beautiful image that I have loved working with...

Just perfect for our DT theme of winter!
I have coloured the image with Pro Markers
and added glitter to the tree as tinsel!

This close upof the image shows the sparkle - probably a bittoo much added
but it is Christmas
after all!

The papers are from a set that I have had about 3 years
and the are one of those sets that you think are too nice to use!
Well I decided that it was time they were opened!

The sentiment that I have used is
Stampin Up!

As I was on a roll I have also created a tag to go with the card
These I will be sending to my Auntie that lives in Australia
I always send her a package at Christmas and she always loves what I create!

I have added glitter to the baubles on the tree on this image - as the glitter overload I felt was too much on the card!

I love the layers that you can create on a tag! and something so simple looks really effective!

I have added the same sentiment and also pearls to the tag!

I hope you like what I have created and thank you for taking the time to visit!
It is much appreciated!
Have a lovely day

I cannot wait to see what you create for the challenge this month
