A Canvas...

Hello!

This evening I am sharing with you a canvas that I have created - something again I have not done for many years and I have to say I really enjoyed it!

I have gessoed the canvas and then covered it with Tim Holtz crackle paint - I love this as the effect is very subtle

I have then began to add the elements...

Firstly I added the flourish that is a diecut piece from kaiser craft
As are the butterflies that I have added
The flowers are from Hobby House and I just love these
The quality is amazing!

The sentiment also a diecut from kaiser craft
From this angle you can see the crackle pain really well!
The pearls are from the cratng section in wilkinsons! great qulity

The stamp is Chronology and one of my favourites
To age it I have used an aquabrush and my inkpads
ripping the edges to distress it
The hearts are punched out

The clock is wooden and I have had it about 3 years... How often do we do that??
The ticket is Tim Holtz and the feather is from hobby craft

I have loved making this and feel that the finished piece turned out well
I am going to do more of these after being inspired by Katie Lamb

I hope you like my Canvas!
Thank you to all my new followers lovely to have  you here
Also thank you for the comments
It is great to know what you think

Another tag...

Hello

Today I am sharing with you a tag that I have created
I stamped this image about 4 years ago and then promptly did nothing with her!
The cardstock and DSP that I have used is mainly Stampin' Up!
The grey background I am not sure where that is from - its about 6 years old

I have coloured her with promarkers and I am sure you will agree that she is a cutie
I never feel very confident with hair, but I am pleased with how this turned out

The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!
From a set called JUST BELIEVE
One of my favourites...

I have added a number of ribbons and twine to the top of the tag and I love the effect that this creates

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog
Thank you for all your lovely comments and the new follows - theyare much appreciated

Happy Crafting

NJC design team make... Challenge #28

Morning!

I hope that you are enjoying the New Year and finding time to craft... If you are I have the perfect challenge for you today!
I am sharing with you the make that I have made for the New Challenge over on

This is the first project that I have made for the NJC Design Team and I have to say that I have loved the images that we got to work with this month!

They are so cute...

You can get them from all dressed up

These are the two gorgeous images that the DT got to work with this time...

I decided to create a tag for this months challenge
I love doing them and used to make them all the time...
I can see this being another theme as I get crafty this year!

I have coloured the image using my promarkers and I decided that I would use bold colours... Something I don't do very often - especially on clothing!

I added co-ordinating coloured buttons to the tag - I just love these huge buttons I bought them from ebay!

The spotty ribbon were taken from a Christmas present! and the other ribbons were from my stash - they are stampin up!

I hope you like the tag that I have created and I also hope that you will join in the challenge that we have for you this month
Please come along and join us!
It is great fun and there as always is loads of inspiration from the design team!

Thank you for taking the time to look at my post

I look forward to seeing what you create for the challenge

HAPPY CRAFTING

NJC design team!

Hello!

Today I am sharing with you a card that I have created using the image winter that the DT on Not Just Cards got to play with for their December challenge...

Tina who is the new owner of the NJC challenge blog hs asked me to join the DT and I am so excited to be amongst such a great group of crafters...
Especially as I have crafted for a while - let alone blog!
LOL

I have made a card using a beautiful digi image from

Colouring the image with my pro-markers
I have used a sheet of DSP from a stampin up! stack and also stampin up card stock. The buttons are stampin up also - can you see the theme of my craftroom at the minute! LOL

I have added stickle to the fur around the collar and cuffs of the image for extra sparkle
I love the effect of this! I think the photo turned out well!

The layers that I have added to the card for extra depth and texture - something that I am going to try and include more of - I do find this hard!

Stampin Up! button and ribbon added to the corner of the card

I hope that you like the card that I have created and thank you for taking the time to look
Thank you to my new followers! a couple over night!
I appreciate it

HAPPY CRAFTING

HAPPY NEW YEAR...

HAPPY NEW YEAR...

So today I have managed to craft
All be it with a slightly thick head!
I have been colouring images over the last couple of weeks and not converting them to projects!

So today I decide to complete something
The beginning of a new year always means a new pad for me
So I decided to cover the front of the one that I bought from Tesco...

I decided to use a Gorguss Girl image that I stamped last year and had never coloured...

I used a cardstock backing cut to the size of the pad and then added all the layers and the image to this...
The sentiment is a beautiful stamp from

They also have a facebook group where you can share your projects and get amazing inspiration here!

One that I had purchased last year and never use
One thing that I have promised myself this year is that I am going to make time for crafting and I am going to blog! So here I am
LOL

I have coloured the image with Pro Markers and I have used a clear gel pen to add the detail to the coat and the umbrella - just adding a little clear droplet

I have used scrap pieces of card stock to add to the layers in
co-ordinating colours
deep red, grey and cream
I have used a sheet of craftwork cards DSP that I purchased in a paper pack many years ago
One of those that you stroke for several months before cutting!

I have used sticky gems that were from the crafting section in Wilkinsons
Love them!

I hope you like my finished project and here's to a crafty 2016
Happy Crafting
