Stamp With Us!

So here we are another week and another great challenge - this week again I am running late as I have been really busy with work, leaving me shattered and also the chicken pox finally made an appearence for little Aidan and we are having a rough couple of days - at the mement he is a little spotty (getting spottier by the minute) bless him!

Anyway back to the great challenge we have had this week, this card is made using the SU! stampset carte postale - a beautiful set recently purchased from the lovely Deborah O'D and this is the first time that I have used it! Here is a picture of the sketch that we had to follow...
I decided to use only two colours this week keeping things simple as there is al ot of detail in the sketch and I think it works! I have punched out the image then mounted this on brocade blue cardstock, this is then mounted on a black scallop punch - I have used mini dimensionals to mount the layers on to give them some depth and I think this adds to the effect. I then used brocade blue ribbon and cardstock and a basic black card black to mount it all on...

I hope you like the card and thanks for looking - again I really enjoyed this challenge check out the blog and have a go yourself! TTFN Debbi x x x

  3. Sorry to hear about Aidan. My friend's little boy had chickenpox a few weeks ago - it's tough on the little ones.

Love the card, looks very classy. That stamp is great.
