Just Because...

Hello!

This is my second post today and I thought I would share with you a card that I have made for the Desmet Designs whose challenge this month is Red, White and Blue... I am loving this colour scheme at the minute and think it shows in the cards that I am making!
For this card I used the papers that were free in a crafting magazine last month (crafts beautiful) and I will be honest I never normally use them as I don't like the quality of the paper - but these are beautiful and the texture of them is great! and perfect for this theme! In this card I have also used the stamp that came free with the magazine and I have coloured it with my pro-markers... The jubilee is nearly upon us and we are seeing lots of challenges that are in the country's colours!

I have used DSP from the magazine for the mat layer on the card blank and the panel on the left hand side... Across that left hand side I have added some bunting that I have cut out, the sentiment is also one of the border papers that I have trimmed down... I used card candi to the top of the left hand side

Here is a close up of the image... For one that was free in a magazine I love it... Many thanks to my lovely crafty friend Tina who ordered it for me! (I have added a link to her blog which is relatively new! Please stop by and say hello!

So this is my entry for the red, white and blue challenge!
Thank you for stopping by and as always your comments are appreciated...
