some sad news...

Hello!

This morning I am sharing with you the card that I have made for the Crafty Pad - and this will be our last challenge! Crafty Pad Challenge

FRIENDSHIP/ KEEP IN TOUCH

This weeks challenge is sponsored by Joanna Sheen

This week all the design team have come together to create something to inspire you for the final challenge and they have certainly risen to the challenge - I hope that you will pay them a visit!

Debbie has a great offer on at
The Crafty Pad
with 25% off so be sure to get some of the fantastic digis on offer!

For my card today - I have used Teaset
This was the first image that I used for a challenge and has remained a firm favourite of mine!
It seems fitting that I use this one today!

I hope you like my card!

I have coloured it with pro-markers and then for added sparkle added some stickles to the dots on the teapot. I have added ribbon to the left hand side and cut the sentiment up to lay this across the card - I like the effect of this and it is something I have not done before!

I have loved working with the images that Debbie has created and thank her for inviting me onto a great DT and to work with some very talented crafters - I feel very honoured... I know that I will be staying in touch with them all in the future!

Thank you for taking the time to visit today and I appreciate all your comments

I cannot wait to see what you create!

I have done sommething a little this week for my DT project
I asked the lovely Debbie whether I could show you the personalised book that is availble
and here it is

Personalise a Christmas Story Book

I have printed the pages and coloured the images and then decorated the front cover... I have kept the front cover very simple with black text and then decorated with silver ink in an Indigo Blu christmas tree and then inked the edges

A close up of page one image

A close up of page two image

I inked the edges of each page, I added red and green ribbon to bind the book and double knotted this... I coloured the images with my pro-markers and I have added glitter for some extra sparkle - I cannot wait for my boys to have this read to them (when I have finished all the pages!)

This will make a fantastic little extra for my boys this year - and seeing their name in print! and here you can see my glittery nails too! LOL

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

Robyns Fetish...

HELLO!
Today I am sharing with you the card that I have made for for this weeks challenge -
#133 anything goes

I decided to use the Christmas Bell image and colour this in traditional Christmas colours - using red, green and gold. I used my pro-markers to colour the image and then outlined this wuith a metallic marker and cust around this - I teamed this with DSP from Stampin' Up!
I added a piece of textured card to the top of the card and added a sentiment to this and then added 3 card candi to the bottom right of the card.

I kept the card quite simple so as not to take away from the image I have used which I think is very effective - I have attached it to the card using silicone to make it stand away from the card and before I did this I rounded the image...

I hope you like my card and thanks for looking - as always your comments are appreciated, a special hello to all my new followers - it is lovely to see you here - if I don't follow you please give me a nudge...

I would love to enter this card in the following challenges:
kraftyhands - christmas
one stop crafts - anything goes
sweet stamping - anything goes

If you would like to look at my Stampin' Up! blog

crafty pad DT - anything goes

Good morning!

This morning I am sharing with you my DT card for the Crafty Pad
using the image

The prize this week is great from
Prize £10 to spend in their fabby shop

For my card I have colour the image with my stampin up old olive ink pad and an aqua brush. I have then added dazzling dettails to the centre of the tree. I have then inked the edges in cherry cobbler. The fence was done in expresso

I then added a piece of DSP from the strawberry sundae range that although not Christmas I think ties in well.
I added ribbon with a bow detail to the right hand side of the card and three card card to the right. I stamped a 'merry christmas sentiment inked the edges and mounted on a craft card blank on the bottom right of the card. I used panles of craft and cobbler card as layers for the back of the card.

I hope you like my card and thanks for looking - cannot wait to see what you come up with for our challenge this week!

please make sure that you read  the challenge rules properly!
cannot wait to see what you create with the fabulous images that are on offer

I have used the image 'rebecca' for this bookmark and I have coloured her with my pro-markers. I have used craft and tempting turquoise card and a piece of bright DSP to decorate - using grosgrain ribbon
I have attached the image using dimensionals!
I like this very bright and colourful

I have coloured 'hippie luna' also with pro-markers and again used tempting turquoise card along with so saffron and then a piece of co-ordinating DSP
I have added a flower to decorate
A bit impractical for a bookmark - but looks very pretty

my first twinchie...

Hello...

So I have been promising for weeks to have a go at TWINCHIES and never actually got around to it... The challenge this ,time is to create something spooky and this is what I came up with...

I have used a stitchy bear image and added some colour with pro-markers only two!

and then added a few gems to the bottom left and top right corners and added some glossy accents to the lips to make them shiny!
very simple but I think I have captured the spooky theme!

What do you think??

Stampin Up! TRAINING...

Hello

Today I am sharing with you the card fronts that I created for SU training with my team at the weekend... This is training that Julie puts on quarterly to share her wisdom with us! Also a great chance to catch up and have a gossip as well and see the great inspiration tables that a few people made also to inspire us... We made some great projects on the day, but as always I did not finish these - too busy nattering!

For my swap...

I used the new stampset watercolour winter - a new firm favourite for me and I embossed the poinsettia twice using the also new cherry cobbler embossing powder. I then cut these out - all 68 of them!
and colour washed them with my aqua brush and my ink pad - concentrating the colour to the middle of the flower.
I stamped the fir of the tree in each corner of an ivory blank and inked the edges of this, I stamped merry christmas in the bottom right hand side and added an old olive brad in the top left corner...
I also added a bow to the top right hand side of this - although took my picture before I added them!

Here is a close up of the flower - added dimensionals to make it pop

here is a close up of the sentiment

I hope you like my swap... if you would like more information on signing up as an SU demo please email me - there is a great offer at the moment to join a great team!

CRAFTY PAD... OOPPPSSS LATE!

Hello and good morning

Apologies that my post if late this morning - completely disorganised again!
Must try harder!

I have used the Animals in a Dresser image for today's great challenge
AMIMALS

at the crafty pad

We have 2 sponsors this week..
£5 voucher to spend in their fabby online shop

and
1 pack of Muted Tone Promarkers

I have coloured the image with promarkers and then mounted the image on crumb cake card and marine blue, I have added a piece of retired DSP which I think looked great with the colours that I have chosen for the image. The top of the card i have used a marine blue border and added some thick white twill tape to this. I added a sentiment to the bottom right... Something a little different for me I used acraft coloured card blank and I think that this lends itself to the colours in the image...

what do you think??

Sorry once again for the late post!

Enjoy the rest of your day!
