Two Step Stamping...

Here is another card for you using one of the reduced sets from this months promotion. I have used bird on a branch and for the last couple of months kind of 'gone off ' this set but am pleased with the card.

I have stamped the tree image on a whisper white panel in basic grey and then used the stamp a ma jig to add the flowers to the tree in melon mambo. I then added the bird to the image on a dimensional. I have inked the edges of the panel and mounted this on a panel of melon mambo and then again on to basic grey. I have then inked the edges of a melon mambo card blank in basic grey and stamped the sentiment at the bottom in basic grey also.
I hope you like the card, I have kept the card very simple so as not to take away from the effect of the image. Thanks for looking - Debbi x x x

yeay - pictures!

So here is a card for you that I have made for a recent swap over on ILWS. The aim of the swap was to complete something neutral - you could use whichever stampset you wanted and the only stipulation that there could be no colour other than the neutrals!
Here is what I created - I have used a craft card blank and inked the edges of this using a dauber with craft ink. I have then stamped the image from fresh cuts onto a piece of craft card again inked the edges and decoupaged the leaf element in the bottom right hand side of the card. I have mounted this on basic black card. In the top right hand side of the card I have stamped the flower vine from the set also in craft and at the bottom of the card I have stamped the sentiment from the stamp set and to try and get this straight I have used the stamp a majig.
I have used some of the stampin' up! striped ribbon to decorate on the left hand side of the image mount.

My Time to Craft Challenge...

The challenge this week was 'GREEN + ONE' For this I decided to use greenhouse garden and I chose the colours old olive, certainly celery and mellow moss. I stamped the image on very vanilla and mounted this on old olive and certain celery card stock. The sentiment is heroarts and stamped in black - my other! I have mounted this on certain celery and old olive card stock. This stampset is very easy to use and for this card I have not used a stamp a majig I have used the rock and roll tecnique that we were shown at convention. The full image is stamped on the card stock in green. I have then inked the top stamp in black that accents the detail to the flowers, the top of the stamp is placed to the top of the green stamped image and quickly rocked over the image - easy and it must be cause I can do it!
I hope you like the card and thanks for looking your comments are appreciated - Debbi x x x
