Ok so a busy weekend to say the least and one that was throughly enjoyable... and a lovely weekend also spent with the very talented Deborah O'D check out her blog! So we had a stall at a local craft fair to Deborah and I set up our stall to promote the wonderful products of Stampin' Up! and also complete the odd demo. We had a great day and met lots of lovely people - all of which which will hear who won the raffle in the next couple of days... fingers crossed. We have created a display board that shows many of the samples that we and some fellow demonstrators have created... There were lots of information packs handed out on the day and we talked craftiness all day... A great day! I even made a card for one of the other stall holders!
We were there all day and have several of these planned over the summer months - if you would like more details please email me!

Finished Card...
Ok so apologies for the late finished card I have had a manic weekend with my first craft show (more on that later!) and I was shattered last night when I got home so here I am when I should be cleaning! typing you a post - Oh well nevermind I have started to clean the bathroom (sprayed Cif on it!)
I love these neutral colours and they look great for baby naming cards, I have added the backing panel at an angle and the ribbon detail behind this so there are no edges shown.
I hope you like them and thanks for looking - Debbi x x x

New Baby Cards...
One of the managers at work leaves tomorrow to have her baby, she does not know what she is having and I wanted to make her something for leaving. After talking to her about what to make we decided to make some baby announcement cards - as she does not know the sex of the little one we discussed colours and decided to make them neutral. I have used the bundle of joy stamp set and have used the giraffe. I painted the images using the lids from my ink pads and my aqua painter. I used the colours chocolate chip and barely banana.
I mounted the image on chocolate chip card. I have added some ribbon to decorate on the right hand side and then have used certainly celery (is that right Deb O'd!) card blanks and inked the edges on chocolate chip. I have used a square of barely banana card stock and angled this to the side and stamped the sentiment to the right hand side of this. Here are some pictures and I will show the completed card tomorrow! Thanks for looking and your comments are appreciated - Debbi x x x

lovely colours...
Yesterday whilst at Port Sunlight I knew that I would be seeing some lovely crafting friends so I decided to make some quick and easy bookmarks to give to people as I saw them... I only used a simple idea and they didn't take long at all! I randomly stamped circle circus images on a piece of whisper white and then cut these into panels. These were then mounted onto the three colours of card and I rcopped a hole in the top and added a piece of the beutiful new ribbon that has just been released. I hope you like then and thanks for looking - Debbi x x x

new colour's... first card!
My delivery arrived on Thursday and last night was the first chance that I had to play with the fabulous colours that we have been given for the May offer! I made a card for a friend who I saw today who over the last week has not been 100% and I thought that this would cheer her up a little - I chose to use all three colours that we are lucky enough to have and the stamp set once again circle circus but I love this set and love the way that circle circus is so versatile! I have stamped the images in melon mambo, rich razzleberry and softy suede.
I have cut a card blank and then stamped a panel of whisper white, inking the edges of this. Behind this I have added a piece of the beautiful ribbon (just doubled over) using soft suede and stamped the sentiment in rich razzleberry.
Keep an eye out for more samples using the new products in a BLOG HOP I am organising over on ILWS on the morning of June the 6th - there are a lot of demo's involved and I am sure that you will have a lovely morning!

One for the Men...
The latest swap I have completed over on ILWS is a card that we can use for men... I am sure you will agree that it is so hard to come up for a card for a men, but if you were asked to make a card for a female friend or relation it would take you about five minutes! and you could probably make a couple LOL. Anyway after much blog hopping I came across stampinpretty - her cards are amazing and I adapted one of her male card to suit me.
I have stamped the medallion stamp in basic grey and then chopped this in half. I have inked the edges and then mounted this onto taken with teal card stock. I have punched out the middle of the medallion stamp and added this to the card sticking it down with dimensionals. I have punched out a happy birthday using the window punch and stuck this using the glue pen. I have also added shimmer paint to the edge of the card to add a subtle shimmer to the card.

Black and White...
I have managed to make a quick card this morning after all the excitement of last night! Joshua has a lovely 'eye black' as he is calling it and luckily it is just soft tissue damage, but he was very excited at looking at his teeth on the x'ray!
I am going to make a box and set of birthday cards using Happy Moments and no colour - just stamping, glitter and black and white card stock! I am using basic black and both whisper white and confetti card. To make the first card I stamped the image on confetti card this adds a subtle hint of colour through the card but nothing bright, decoupaged this using stampin dimensionals and then added dazzling diamonds to the edge of the card to add some sparkle. I have then inked the edges and matted this to basic black. I have then added a panel of whisper white to the centre of the card blank and stuck the image to the top left of the card and the sentiment to the bottom right.
