Simon Says Challenge...

WHATS LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT... The challenge on Simon Says this week is the famous Tina Turner song - are you singing yet?? LOL I have entered the card I used in the Sugar Nellie Challenge for this one too... The stamp Little Miss Attitude is answering the phrase, with her folded arms and jaunty expression almost daring you to care! - Although having said that I am one of the lucky ones and married to a gem! Who even though we said no presents this Valentines had a Pandora bag at the ready! This card I loved doing using the stamp from Love you much - cannot wait to play further with this even though Valentines has passed. The image I have coloured with my pro markers.

Simon SAys Challenge...

This weeks challenge over on Simon Say was pink and brown - looking at the challenges about at the moment I am sensing a theme with the colours that we are seeing! So far this card I decided that I was going to use a penny black stamp with cats - they are easy to colours brown! I have coloured them using polochromos and sansador. I don't have any of these but my friend does so I borrowed hers. I then double mounted the image on pixie pink and chocolate chip card from my SU stash . I inked the edges of the card blank with chocolate chip also SU using a dauber. The sentiment I used was hero arts and I have stamped that in pixie pink ink rounded the corners and inked the edges. The DSP I have used is also SU and from a retired set that I have - I love spots at the moment and have been searching out papers wirth them on! Simon Says Challenge...

This week there was a colour challenge - PINK and BROWN. When crafting these are two of my favourite colours - they look so good together and the accessories that you can find to compliment them always look good... So the card that I made was a Forever Friends image this is one of my favourites - I love the little flowers I coloured this with my SU watercolours and then mounted the image on SU! cardstock To finish the image off I used glitter glue in the centre of the flowers - The DSP is Forever Friends and is perfect for this challenge, the brads are also Forever Friends and the sentiment is Whispers Words also mounted on SU! cardstock. The ribbon is taffeta SU! and the bow is tied seperately and then stuck on - I am never confident with bows and they never seem to look right. No matter how many times I watch Monicas tutorial!
