Tsunami Rose May card 1

Hello everyone...

The card that I am showing now is part of Daisy's sketch challenge - 1 unique sketch per day for a year (what a feat if she manages it)... For the month of May I am very proud to say that I am part of the design team and I am sharing with you this morning card number 1 which follows sketch number 8...
I have to say that I am loving working with these sketches and I love the way that all the elements from them help you create fantastic cards...

For this card I have used some vintage papers that Daisy has sent me and I trimmed and cut them to suit the main image and focus for the card and as we had to add a butterfly to the card - they were the perfect fit... Something that I have never done before but I like the effect.

I inked the edges of the white card blank, added a very vanilla panel in the middle of the card and also inked the edges. There are 3 tabbed panels with butterflies on to the top left of the card where I have also inked the edges and I added some die cut butterflies to the top of the panels. I added 3 gems to the bottom left of the panel and the sentiment to the bottom right. There are also 3 gem to the top right.

Throughout the month I will be showing the cards that correspond with the sketch and that include some materials from our great sponsors - these include

I hope you that you like card number 1 and I will be back with card 2 tomorrow!
Thanks for looking and your comments are really appreciated...
