LEJ Designs challenge - lots of layers!

Good morning blog land! I hope you are well and feeling crafty!

Here is my card using James Fishing for the challenge this week - lots of layers!

There are two prizes for the winners of this challenge!

This morning I am sharing with you the card that I have created for LEJ designs and I love the image that I got to play with this time... I knew straight away that I would use green and brown tones for the card as they are very well suited to fishermen... I was picturing green wellies a checkered flat cap and wax coat - lol I hope you can picture this from my card and see where I was going with my theme...

For my card I coloured the image with my pro-markers and added three brads to the bottom left of the card. I inked the edges and matted this on brown and green card. Once I had completed this I added brown and green card stock to a white card blank. Followed by a piece of Stampin' Up! DSP from one of the retired Christmas sets that I thought matched perfectly for this card. I then added a white piece of card stock to this and inked the edges in brown... I added a brown piece of ribbon to the left side and three buttons to the right... I used a ticket sentiment and attached this with silicone...

I have loved creating this card... Are there enough layers do you think?? lol
