some sad news...

Hello!

This morning I am sharing with you the card that I have made for the Crafty Pad - and this will be our last challenge! The Crafty Pad shop and challenge blog will close and I know that Debbie (our boss lady) has not come to this decision lightly - I wish her every success for what her future holds xxx

I do hope that you will join us in the final challenge
Crafty Pad Challenge

FRIENDSHIP/ KEEP IN TOUCH

This weeks challenge is sponsored by Joanna Sheen

This week all the design team have come together to create something to inspire you for the final challenge and they have certainly risen to the challenge - I hope that you will pay them a visit!

Debbie has a great offer on at
The Crafty Pad
with 25% off so be sure to get some of the fantastic digis on offer!

For my card today - I have used Teaset
This was the first image that I used for a challenge and has remained a firm favourite of mine!
It seems fitting that I use this one today!

I hope you like my card!

I have coloured it with pro-markers and then for added sparkle added some stickles to the dots on the teapot. I have added ribbon to the left hand side and cut the sentiment up to lay this across the card - I like the effect of this and it is something I have not done before!

I have loved working with the images that Debbie has created and thank her for inviting me onto a great DT and to work with some very talented crafters - I feel very honoured... I know that I will be staying in touch with them all in the future!

Thank you for taking the time to visit today and I appreciate all your comments

This week the challenge is sponsored by

For my card I have used 'annie angel'
from the digi garden

I have coloured my image with promarkers and then inked the edges with pro-markers also, I have mounted the image onto white card. I wanted to keep the colours of the card very subtle, instead of using
I have used a white card blank and inked the edges with the same markers. I have used a piece of 'me to you' DSP and 4 mulberry flowers to the left hand side of the card. The sentiment is also 'me to you'

CHRISTMAS

 Our sponsor this week is

I cannot wait to see what you create!

I have done sommething a little this week for my DT project
I asked the lovely Debbie whether I could show you the personalised book that is availble
and here it is

Personalise a Christmas Story Book

I have printed the pages and coloured the images and then decorated the front cover... I have kept the front cover very simple with black text and then decorated with silver ink in an Indigo Blu christmas tree and then inked the edges

A close up of page one image

A close up of page two image

I inked the edges of each page, I added red and green ribbon to bind the book and double knotted this... I coloured the images with my pro-markers and I have added glitter for some extra sparkle - I cannot wait for my boys to have this read to them (when I have finished all the pages!)

This will make a fantastic little extra for my boys this year - and seeing their name in print! and here you can see my glittery nails too! LOL

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

Robyns Fetish...

HELLO!
Today I am sharing with you the card that I have made for for this weeks challenge -
#133 anything goes

I decided to use the Christmas Bell image and colour this in traditional Christmas colours - using red, green and gold. I used my pro-markers to colour the image and then outlined this wuith a metallic marker and cust around this - I teamed this with DSP from Stampin' Up!
I added a piece of textured card to the top of the card and added a sentiment to this and then added 3 card candi to the bottom right of the card.

I kept the card quite simple so as not to take away from the image I have used which I think is very effective - I have attached it to the card using silicone to make it stand away from the card and before I did this I rounded the image...

I hope you like my card and thanks for looking - as always your comments are appreciated, a special hello to all my new followers - it is lovely to see you here - if I don't follow you please give me a nudge...

I would love to enter this card in the following challenges:
kraftyhands - christmas
one stop crafts - anything goes
sweet stamping - anything goes

If you would like to look at my Stampin' Up! blog
