Stamp With Us!

So here we are another week and another great challenge - this week again I am running late as I have been really busy with work, leaving me shattered and also the chicken pox finally made an appearence for little Aidan and we are having a rough couple of days - at the mement he is a little spotty (getting spottier by the minute) bless him!

Anyway back to the great challenge we have had this week, this card is made using the SU! stampset carte postale - a beautiful set recently purchased from the lovely Deborah O'D and this is the first time that I have used it! Here is a picture of the sketch that we had to follow...
I decided to use only two colours this week keeping things simple as there is al ot of detail in the sketch and I think it works! I have punched out the image then mounted this on brocade blue cardstock, this is then mounted on a black scallop punch - I have used mini dimensionals to mount the layers on to give them some depth and I think this adds to the effect. I then used brocade blue ribbon and cardstock and a basic black card black to mount it all on...

I hope you like the card and thanks for looking - again I really enjoyed this challenge check out the blog and have a go yourself! TTFN Debbi x x x

Cutie Sunday!

Here is another challenge and this week we had to follow a sketch - I have coloured a Penny Black image with SU! watercolours and I have mounted this on SU cardstock, the dots are punched from SU punches and raised using the palm of my hand and the end od a paint brush! The paper is In My Minds Eye and one of the many purchases I made on Saturday from the lovely Deborah O'D who definately has the buying disease I have - and probably all crafters suffer from! LOL! The sentiment is an SU stamp set but one I don't have I used it at my craft club this evening...

Stamp With Us!

This weeks challenge was a recipe I love these - off I go rooting under the bed (long story if you don't know) to see what I can lay my hands on and what colours spring out! For this I decided on yoyo yellow, pink passion and close to cocoa! the stampset was garden whimsy as was the sentiment - still a firm favourite so what we had to use...

1 x Patterned paper
2 x Ribbons
1 x Flower
1 x Button

and here is what I made - the post is a little late this week as I have been really busy - buying new stuff some of which I will post you tomorrow...

thanks for looking and I hope you like the card TTFN Debbi x x x

Secret Crafter - saturday challenge

This week was new beginnings and as one of my collegues is leaving to have a baby tomorrow I thought I would make her a card - she doesn't know what she is having so I have used lemon, pink and blue - to cover all the bases! The image is tilda from an image swap and I have used watercolour pencil crayons to colour the image - I have used a woodware punch for the flowers and the ribbon if offray. I hope you like the card and I hope Louise does too! LOL thanks for looking TTFN debbi x x x

Forever Friends Challenge...

The challenge this week was buttons and bows - again something that I do not have a problem with, they seem to be all over the house! I have used forever friends image, designer paper and sentiment. The ribbon is from my stash and twisted to decorate and the buttons are a mixture from my stash and SU! I hope you like the card and thanks for looking! TTFN Debbi x x x

Colour Create

This week was the colour combo - pink sorbet, lemon and chocolate mmmmmm! Well here is the card I made - I love these colours so had loads of things around to inspire me! The image was bought for me by my new ILWS friend Deborah she is a gorguss girl! and coloured with watercolour pencils. It is mounted on SU! card and the pink ribbon is SU! taffeta, the brown is from my stash... The yellow DP is also from my stash and the eyelets are dovecraft. The flower punch is woodware.
