A new vintage beginning...

Good Morning!

Today I bring you my DT card for the new challenge blog that has launched today...

I hope that you will join us with the challenge today that is mixed media - I have always found challenges like this very difficult as I like more clean and simple with my designs.. however that said I have loved making this card and I think that the effect that I have created lends itself to the theme in a good way and still retains a vintage feel - even though the image is tombstones!

So for my card I decided that I would colour the image using both my copics and my pros... keeping the tombstones with grey tones and the angel coloured with a natural colour

I have added crystal effects and gems to some of the image and decorated with gems. I have used several greens to do the grass and for the backdrop of the image I have used daffodil delight, more mustard and cherry cobbler... Before brayering I masked of the tombstones and then once finished I outlined them in dark grey... I added some potpourri to the top and bottom of the card and I have also added a metal charm. The sentiment is a ticket attached with dimensionals to the bottom right of the card...
