So many of you know that I have been struggling with my back for many months... This has meant that I have had to take many painkillers to get me through the day and has meant that I have struggled to do very simple things like get my boys to school/ nursery.
I have not been able to go out socially and have not even been able to do very simple things like shopping without help...
I ended up going for an MRI scan that resulted in the surgeon saying that I needed urgent surgery and needed to be very careful with what I was undertaking whilst waiting for my date going into hospital. The wait from seeing the consultant to my surgery was only four weeks and two dates were cancelled due to emergency surgeries needing to be done by my surgeons...
My surgery was last week and I am now on the road to recovery - It was amazing when I first walked after coming round from the 2hr operation that the pain that had been constant in my leg for nearly a year caused by sciatica which was a result of my herniated disc - HAD GONE... It had been with me every making moment for so long that it felt weird to be walking without a limp and to not have the constant pain that I have lived with for so long... So I am now really on the road to getting my life back and to making a full recovery! The only problem I have is I am not able to craft... I cannot get into a comfortable position to get crafty and there is loads I would love to be doing...
this is a cross section of ME!
Thank you for all your good wishes they are much appreciated!
Happy Crafting
Debbi x
