ATC pocket letter swap...

Hello!

Today I am sharing with you the ATC's that I have created for the group I am in on facebook

I only recently got added to the group by my friend Suze and I have to say I just love the idea...
We have to make 9 ATC's that all follow a theme
This month July we have to make

BUTTERFLIES and NATURE

There are 8 other people in the group and they each create an ATC following the same thing
Once you have received all the ATC's you display them together
I have a pocket folder ready for them to go in
I great way to see many different styles of crafting

So for my ATC I stamped a background stamp on a plain ATC card
I then inked the edges
I stamped the word BUTTERFLY in the bottom left hand side
I sprayed the card with glitter for a bit of shimmer
(I love this effect)
I added ribbon to the right hand side
I stamped some butterflies and then cut them out
The punched that I used is from Stampin' Up!
I finally added some gems to the ATC

This shows the background stamp and inked edges

I don't have an ATC stamp
So I created this on publisher and printed it out

For the people that have swapped with me I have added a little thank you
Stamping a card
Inking the edges and I have given them
some ribbon
a clip
and some punches
that all co-ordinate

I hope you like what I have created and thank you for looking
I have loved creating these
and look forward to the next swap!
I have linked the group at the top of the page

Thank you for looking
happy crafting

A birthday card for Tina!

Morning!
I hope that today finds you getting inky and creative!
Thank you to my new followers also!

Today I am sharing with you the card that I created for my good friend Tina's birthday
I have used a prima girl stamp and I just love her
I have coloured her with my pro-markers

I highlighted the outside of the image with a grey marker.
This I always feel makes the image POP

I used a sentiment from Stampin' Up set Endless Birthday Wishes
The DSP is from craftwork cards
The coloured button are also Stampin' Up!
and I added a couple of pearls and some gems just to finish it off...

I think that this means that my mojo is finally back
and I am trying to make time to blog on a regular basis!

Thank you for stopping by

Morning...
It seems that I am on a roll and not just crafting
but blogging as well!
Who knew I would carry on...

Welcome to my new followers too!

So today I am sharing with you a card that I created for my little boys best friend
Aidan picked the image
chose the papers and the sentiment!

He picked a LOTV stamp
James - laptop

I have coloured the image with my pro-markers and highlighted the edges of the images in a darker pen
Such a cute image to work with!

The DSP that Aidan chose for the card is a retired paper from
Stampin' Up! and they are perfect for this card

The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! set
WORDS of TRUTH
and perfect for a Best Friend!

I hope you like my card
and thank you for taking the time to look...

A VERY Belated birthday... oopppssss Sorry Karyn!

Hello Again...
Thank you for taking the time to visit
Hello to my new followers also!
Nice to have you here!

So Today I am sharing with you the card and notebook I covered for my very good friend Karyn's Birthday
She has reached the big 40

It was back in April
but we have only just got around to meeting up!
Me being so poorly has not helped!

I have used the Stampin' Up!
stampset
SHELTERING TREE
and I just love it!

I have stamped the tree in SOFTLY SUEDE

then for the tree used a babywipe to add the colour for the blossom
I have used the colours
DAFFODIL YELLOW
WASABI GREEN
ROSE RED
I just love the effect that this has created and those colours are perfect for this tree stamp

Ikept the rest of the card very plain so not to take away from the tree
Stamping the sentiment in rose red
and the matt layers kept to white
I have added glitter gem to the card also

The BIG 40
is die-cut using the glitter paper
which I also love

Here is the notebook that I have covered
using the same stamp set and colour theme

I hope you like these and thank you for visiting!

Happy Crafting

Found My Mojo... Tiddly Inks DT Call

Hello Again...

No It has not been several weeks since I last blogged - i was only a matter of days!
After not crafting for many months properly to have found my mojo again and be making projects that I am proud of and I think are good! is something that excites me...

Today I am sharing with you a project that I have made for the Tiddly Inks DT call
I love their images and won a couple many years ago, but this is a new image I purchased recently...

The image is called
and you can get it here!

and I have chosen this one to create a card for the learning mentor at my sons school
This year she has been amazing with him and it means a lot!

I have coloured the image with my polychromos
using sansador and blending stumps to blend the colour
I have added deeper colour to areas of the hair and the jigsaw pieces
I love the effect that this creates - I don't use them often enough!

I have distressed the matt layers
and glued them
raising the images on dimenionals to add a little height

I have added the sentiment stampedin coloured ink matching th matt layers instead of using a harsg black!

I hope you like my card and I will be back later in the week
With another project...

Thank you for taking the time to look

NJC #34 July Challenge - Colour

Hello!

Well today the weather has turned very wet
Summer where is it??

Today I am sharing with you the project that I have created for

This month as there is no sponsor we decided to have a fun colour challenge...

So as long as your project is including these colours you can join us!
We have chosen to use summery colours to brighten up our projects!

For my card I have used a LOTV image and coloured her using my pro-markers and then highlighted the image using a cool grey marker

Here is a close up of the image
She is such a cutie
And perfect to be coloured in PINK!

I have added a couple of matt layers in yellow and turquoise to keep the card simple...
I have added a flower and a couple of gems to finish the card off!

I cannot wait to see what you create for the challenge this time
and I will try and get around to comment!
I have also been crafting more this week
So I will schedule another couple of posts to show you what I have been up to!

I know you are surprised! I have been inky!
