This morning I am sharing with you the DT card that I have made for this weeks challenge

a close up of the brilliant image... I have added shading to the of the image and then used a pale grey outline all around Mopaz

I have distressed the edges of the panels... you can see one of the brilliant crafty emblies here...

I have added some more here also andthe are great to colour... I have used metallic pro-markers to colour them... The DSP is from papermania stack and I have coloured it using green in and a stipple brush (love this effect!)

scrapbook layout - eeekkkk

So this evening I am sharing with you a scrapbook page that I have made for my brother and sister in law who recently celebrated 10 years of marriage... I wanted to make them something a little bit different and here is what I did...

I scrapped them a picture from their wedding which I have to say is one of the best confetti shots that I have ever seen - and this one my dad took!

For this layout I have used an SEI DSP and have then themed this with punched hearts using the  stampin' up punch and I have used I heart heart to stamp first...

I have used 10 of each design for the 10 years and then I added 10 pearls...

I have also inked the edge of the base...

The Crafty Pad DT... Things with wings...

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing with you my challenge over at the crafty pad. 
It was my turn to decide the theme and I decided on 
'things with wings'
From our sponsor this week there is a £10.00 online gift voucher

I have to say I am very pleased with my project for a couple of reasons... I have managed to print a digi image so that I can add them to a candle (hubby was more concerned about his printer!) and I also for the first time water coloured them without too much bleeding which I am so pleased at I was imagining much more...

So on to my project I have created a candle and a matching card that I am really pleased with... 
Running the tissue paper through the printer to get the image off to adhere to the candle. I also printed one on card for creating the images for the matching card...

I have coloured the images with my ink pads and an aqua brush and then stipple the background for the card using a shaving brush I have kept the card very simple and I am very pleased with it. For the candle I again water coloured the images and then sealed them with my heat gun...

LEJ Designs - DT

Hello blogland and welcome to all my new followers!

This morning I am sharing with you a card that I have made for the challenge over at LEJ Designs... This weeks challenge is BLING - something that I love to do when making cards and projects! I hope that you will join us - there are some great prizes on offer this week...

For my card I have used Cinders - perfect for this challenge she is so easy to add BLING too...

I have coloured my image with my pro-markers and added detail to the edge of the dress... 

Here is a close up of the image... I have inked the edge of the image using the pro-marker I have coloured the dress with... and for her shoes I have used the metallic silver pen! 

I have added a piece of co-ordinating card stock and a piece of SEI DSP (which I have finally cut into after at least 3 years!)

I have added the sentiment to the bottom right hand side and gems all around the card and the layout...

Today I am sharing with you the DT that I created for LEJ Design this week using one of the great digi images that is available...

The theme this week is anything goes - always an easy one to get involved in and also one that lets your creativity just take over... I love doing them!

So here is the tag that I have created for the challenge I have tried to be out of my comfort zone with this and I have even got the layers hanging over the edge of the tag (something I find very hard!)


I used bold colours to colour the image and have done something a little different for the printing of the image - I have used cream card instead of brilliant white as I think that this adds a subtle softness to the creation... The accessories that I have used co-ordinate with this...
I have used 3 fabric coloured brads for the bottom right and 4 flowers to the top left. I have used a journalling tag the base layer and another added at a jaunty angel...

Vintage Artisans - DT card...

Hello! Hope I find you this morning well... Sick of the rain yet?? I cannot believe we are in July and the summer holidays are starting... I have the heating on it is so miserable here!

This morning I am sharing with you the DT card that I made for Vintage Artisans

the lace is what the lovely Tina sent me! I am completely out of my comfort zone doing something like this so I hope that you like it...

paper piecing - The Crafty Pad

Hello! and welcome to all my new followers!

Well this morning I am sharing with you the card that I have made for my DT project at the Crafty Pad we had a great challenge this week with paper piecing and I hope you like the card that I have created...

a close up of the image coloured with pro-markers I found Dilbert a great image to work with and love the effect that I have managed to create with the shading... I have added velum wing to the image which are traced from the original image...

ATC and cards with attitude DT

Afternoon everyone and how are you this rainy day?? Well it is throwing it down in Dukinfield anyway! hehe... Today I am sharing with you the ATC that I have created for the latest challenge over at ATCs and Cards with Attitude... I hope that you will join us we had a great number of entry's this past 2 weeks - 166! This week there are some great prizes as always -

This weeks theme is ANYTHING GOES, so come along and have a go!

For my ATC this week I coloured my image with pro-markers and once I was happy with the finished image I added some crystal effects to the image, I added a grey outline to the outside edge of the image and then inked the edges of the panel

I added the image to the ATC blank and kept this very plain only inking the edges of this. I added 3 brads to decorate and a ribbon slider with a little strip of pink stitched ribbon to the top right hand side

Good Morning!

So on to my card!

I have colour my image using my pro-markers and I have then inked the edges of the image panel before mounting this on card and then co-ordinating DSP and a final layer of white card...

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

I have then added a panel of DSP and card to the base and inked the edges. I added a strip of the DSP to the layers on the base card and have added them at a jaunty angle as something a little different - not what I usually do!
